Our girls are our top priority.
We like happy sheep. It’s just a bonus that happy sheep produce great fiber.
THE FLOCK
Our flock is composed of white and natural colored Romney sheep that are registered with their breed association. Our girls receive lots of love and attention, and are always eager for a scratch behind the ears. We believe in high quality day-to-day husbandry that emphasizes gentle handling, good nutrition, and commitment to the health and well-being of each and every sheep in our flock.
THE FIBER
Our fleeces have won accolades around the region, and the luster and softness of our yarn and roving reflect these merits. Our fiber is processed in-state and finished on the farm. Small-batch processing allows us to market products unique to each member of our flock. These also means that each batch is a bit different, so be sure to purchase enough for your project while it is available!
THE FARMERS
Our team loves our flock (that goes without saying). We’re also passionate about advancing the Connecticut agriculture industry, promoting agricultural equity and accessibility, and enhancing agricultural literacy among CT residents.
